Well, you would think that being unemployed for just over a month now that I would have gotten this website all up to date with added photos and other content - but believe it or not, I’ve been really busy. Busy trying to find another job (that’s nearly a full time job in itself), working on the house and property, visiting my mother when she was in the hospital, hauling a friends horse to the vet after a minor accident, etc. It’s not been all work though - I’ve also reconnected with a dear friend after several years of being out of touch (just due to life being in the way) and spent some time with a couple of my other favorite people in this world. A week with my grandsons last month here at my house - swimming and roller skating (yes, I roller skated after MANY years and only fell 3 times).
I’m so very happy to be out of that toxic work enviornment - not as easy to get out of as one may think - and not as easy to just go get another job (obviously). After unloading a major contributor to my stress and unhappiness late last year, and the job being the other major contributor to it, unloading it this year - my stress level hasn’t been this low in over 10 years.
I have a million things going on in my mind about what I’m going to do next - and I haven’t decided yet - I’m taking my time to decide - thinking about a move (which would include selling my house), going back to school to finish my degree - it is going to take a little time and planning to figure things out. And while I’m trying to get those things sorted out, I am studying to take my auto insurance claims adjuster license.
Nothing really exciting going on in my world with my horse and my dogs, but it’s peaceful. Finally.

DAMAGED BOOKS
I have received some author copies of my books as well as some ordered directly via Amazon. There have been quite a few that were poorly packaged and have arrived with damaged book covers. The last few orders of mine and some of family and friends - the pages appear warped/wavy. I am working on a letter to send to Kindle Direct Publishing (tomorrow) - which I hope will clear up the issue quickly. I’m not happy at all about this and pretty disappointed in them.
If you did receive a damaged book, please email me and let me know. Until the problem is resolved with KDP - getting a replacement from Amazon won’t do any good.

I’m always busy doing something between work and home, but I am currently in the process of uploading my full song list and photo collection here to the site.
